My First Template (PIC ONLY)

Yeah, I'm doing the coding as we speak. This is my first

 

The red clashes horribly with the grey, I'd take away that stuffed up shadow below the menu. (The grey ellipse.)
Change the font.

The rest is great, your getting better at this every time I see your work.
The paper at the top looks nice.

For a first template i think it is good. But as mentioned before you really should try to find a different color than that magenta, just doesn't look as good as some others could. Finally, i don't know if it is length of pic or web page, but try to make the box inside the circle round off a little to match. I think it would look a lot better.

But otherwise, great first effort and you should keep it up.

 

as a first, it's decent. tho the red looks bad in gray bg. and the font is bit too fat. need more detailing adn better shading
