Ram fucked my pc up?

well, after I installed my own ram on my computer quite a while ago weird shit started happening, playing CS my internet would randomly go out and i'd have to restart the computer. Gunz was working fine before, but I recently tried to play and it was extremely jittery and stuff.
If I installed the ram wrong could this be whats messing it up?
It's the right kind of ram and all for my computer..

 

I don't see how RAM could do this... and you can't really install the RAM wrong there is only one way how you can put it in.
Maby you fuckedup the Motherboard or something.

If it really was the RAM you would probably get something like this.

- Random Restarts
- Blue screens
- Errors while running programs. (Shutting down programs automatic. and Windows Errors)

well, I guess I know it isn't the ram, I took it out, put it back in in differnt slots aswell, didn't work. maybe my video card is just getting out dated, my moms getting me a new one tonight. If that doesn't solve the problem then.. shit.

 

It can't be your Ram. If it wasn't installed properly then you would hear a continuous beeping sound when you tried to boot your computer.

By the sounds of it your Graphics/Video Card is stuffing up. try installing new drivers, or in the worst case by a new one(s).

 

Either it's your mother bored or graphics card.

RAM wouldn't hurt your computer.

Its not the ram its proboly the video card i had the same thing happend to me

Maybe static got to your computer when you put the RAM in??

 

your motherboard can hold a maximum amount of RAM. if you put too much RAM in , it will fry and your CPU will not hold the intensity . Recommended you take that RAM stick out

 

Maybe you put in your hardware wrong or maybe it needs to be configured. Your video/graphics card. Or maybe its just your hard drive.

 

Was a SHITTY Dell cause if it was then a week ago i installed a new ethernet port modem into one of those empty slots and it fucked up my motherboard had to get a new one I hate dell...and oh yeah static can really make things go wrong on your motherboard so rub your hands on the metal side of your pc case
