Need help now. Disclocated finger.

Well im not gonna go into details as i cant type easy and that its not the point. Alright, I basically got In a fight, and dislocated my middle finger right hand at around 12 today (time is now 9). I thought I just jammed it but then I realized it started turning purple on the palm of my finger/palm area.

I barley looked it up on ehow and It says I need to put ice on it and see a doctor. Some medical site says I needed to see a doctor immediatly and get an annesesiac injection, then have it surgecially replaced. If I dont get immediate attention It could heal wrong and I have a screwed finger and it complicates healing.

i need some way non-injection of fixing it with least amount of pain possible. Note, Its dislocated, which means the ball end of the bone is out of the socket.

It says I could rupture some vessels. O well, I have plans tonight and I'm not wasting them on a doctor.

Also, is there any way of numbing it?I already took 8 advils and am soaking it in ice ready to do it myself. But it is still going to hurt like hell.

Dont say go see a doctor. I told you I have plans. Plans as in in nots worth a fucking finger to miss.

 

Just hold your finger carefully, and when you think it is aligned, push it towards your hand, it should pop back in. Although, it might be broken instead of dislocated. Also, don't take anymore goddamn advil.

 

Yes i have to agree with Billyy on this..If you take to much advil, you will make your stomach bleed, and you will have more things to worry about than a dislocated finger.

 

Take a bag of ice, wrap it around your finger. Tape it there. And go to the doctors " tomorrow "

 

Interesting how you'd rather lose a finger than put up with an injection you can barely feel.

 

Options:
1)Stick your finger in your ass and count to 10
2)Stick your finger in your dogs ass and better hope he dont bite you.
3)Put ice on it... It might help.
4)Doctor's the most reasonable thing.

 

If you do not go see a doctor, bad things will happen.

Same happened to me, and i left it alone; and now my finger has a large bump in it, guess what, thats the bone!!!!!

Go see the doctor. Immediately. Forget whatever "plans" you may have, just drop everything, and go see the doctor.

Doctor is the best route, and your "plans" for the night won't be affected... it isn't surgery, it's a relatively quick deal, nothing that'll hold you there for 12 hours.

 

I don't know why you don't want to see a doctor. If your worried about legal rights just make something up. And make sure you don't tell the time you dislocated it. When you get there tell him it only happened an hour or two ago. Also a doctor could easily pop it back in.

k thanks. Whatever. I just popped it into place. no problem. Hardly hurt since I was so fucking drugged.

Also, im not trying to be a drama queen, attention seeker, or anything like that. I was worried about my bodily health and was asking on the only place on the internet were I thought I could get a reasonable answer.

After you pop it into place just try to immobilize it so it can heal more efficiently. That's all a doctor would do for you if you went to one: numb you up, pop it into place, and immobilize it. You should be alright.

 

Lol your fine... I dislocated my pinky playing football i just pulled on it moved it back and pushed it back in. I had the trainer look at it and said it was fine and taped it up.

I also dislocated my knee when i tore my acl, i just popped that back in to.

 

i dislocated my left ring finger skateboarding ages ago, and thought i was a badass by not going to see a doctor. now when i bend my finger it bends diagonally and hits my pinky, and the worst fucking thing is i cant fucking play guitar hero because of it. go see a fucking doctor you pussy ass piece of shit you are not cool for not wanting to go see a doctor.
