Frets on Fire

For you cheap people who dont wanna buy gh III there a mod for it that make FoF look like gh III.



Frets on Fire is an excellent GH clone. It's also better since theres hundreds and hundreds of songs. In this guide I will show you:

I)Downloading FoF (frets on fire)
II)Guide to use Xbox 360 controller with FoF
III) Successfully installing songs on to FoF​

Programs Used:
1) WinRar - http://www.rarsoft.com/download.htm download

2) Frets on Fire - http://fretsonfire.sourceforge.net/


Note: WinRar is used to extract .rar and .zip formatted files (What we'll be using to extract the songs)

O.k. Now lets get started

1) Install Frets on Fire. (I use windows sorry Mac users) (also keep the frets on fire folder somewhere where you can access easily like the Desktop)

2) O.K. The screen you'll see is

3) As default the buttons are F1 F2 F3 F4 F5 (Green, Red, Yellow, Blue and Orange respectively) and enter as the pick.

note: If you want to change these settings go to Settings>Key Settings and change them there ( you'll also go there when modifying the buttons to your wired GhIII xbox controller

II) Installing New Songs

To install new songs you have to find people that made them 2 starter site are:

you're going to need to register there (i think) (or use name: bib pass: ownage {mine})

for the example im going to be downloading The Underwater theme from Donkey Kong Country.

ok 1. scroll down till you get to the list of mirror sites with the word download near them



2) download (pick any mirror site you want)

and follow this picture:




and your done
