BUYERS BEWARE OF RWT BANS!!! 2021 DECEMBER

I used my main to purchase gold (via lodestone rendezvous trade), I got a warning which I ignored and proceeded to buy more gold ranging from 100M-2B. A month later I got a 3 day (minor) ban, so I created a level 3 alt to transfer the gold to my main right after each gold purchase. Another month later I got a random 7 day (moderate) ban on my main, even though I stopped using my main to RTW. Half a month later my main gets hit with a 30 day (major) ban, and my level 3 alt finally got a warning.

My theory is that once jagex catches a seller alt account they issue automated bans to anybody who they traded. I traded like 3 or 4 different seller accounts, so I'm guessing they all eventually got caught and each one was traced back to my main.

I made this sythe account today, to warn everybody that jagex isnt fucking around with buyers and maybe someone knows exactly how their RWT detection works and can clarify how buyers can avoid possible RWT bans.

 

Don't buy or sell gold for your MAIN account after you get multiple warnings/bans. You're asking to get perm banned

 

I was confused because from what I read it seems likes its less conspicuous to use a 10 year old leveled account compared to fresh level 3 account.

 

Tbh you're lucky you didn't get permanently banned after the first warning, be careful

 

I don't think mules work. The buyer's mule to main trade looks just as sus as the seller's mule to main trade.

Best thing to do is buy from an actual high level player. I've sold 100b+ in the past month and no ban.

 

Doing alternative methods of trading such as trading on a mule and droptrading or tipjar raises suspicion. You were doing all the stuff Jagex is monitoring to catch RWT buyers of gold transactions.

If i can give you some advice: RWT on the account you normally play on (high combat level with high stats), trade on your home ip address you normally play on. Following these tips you will see an absolute change in the bans you receive.
It is bad luck at the end of the day, but following these tips will make it significantly less likely for you to get caught.

 

Thinking purely intuitively, trading to and from mules when you're already on the radar seems like it would be counter productive.
