Bursting Rock Lobsters

Hey all,

I wanted to level my summoning up a bit by bursting/barraging rock lobsters. Recently, I was outside a dungeon and explained to a friend that I was getting some tokens for the frost tomb to do this and some other randoms chirped in and said that this method had been nerfed.

I haven't really been following RS news, but all the rock lobsters guides I've seen are quite outdated. I was just wondering if anyone could explain if it has changed at all and how it compares to alternatives (i.e. waterfiends) in terms of charms/hour?

edit: I'm not really concerned with drops or price (although feel free to comment on suggestions), it's solely about the charms/hour.

 

Rock lobs are still a very good method for charms. I was just there not long ago on my pure and the charms are great there. I would recommend it to the fullest extint. I'm not sure what the "randoms" were talking about And also, in my opinion Rock lobs beat out waterfiends pretty well when it comes to charms/hr.

Bursting rock lobsters is very random, I don't know about the 200+ charms a hour but that is very unrealistic. I been bursting/barraging for the past week with 141+ Mage bonus/99 mage and I average 140-150 charms a hour. Also the fc burstinglobs is further proof to this. So gl mate

don't bother bursting as bursting is a almost the same price as barraging and about 30% slower.
i average 240 charms i don't understand how the person up there only averages 140 charms with c maul extremes, and turmoil i get that
barraging is the best charms in game

 

how can you get so low charms maybe bursting i supose but if that is all you get then waterfiends will be better
acording to the runescape wiki with 9 lobster luring 350 charms/hour is possible burraging

 

I'd stick with Rock lobsters, You can get a decent amount of charms there
