help with monkey madness plz

i'm at the part where i get my gold bar enchanted but when i use my gold bar with zooknock, it says nothing interesting happened.
can someone plz help, i really want to finish monkey madness!!

i did it on my dds pure with 37 hp and combat 31 at the time with 1 prayer.

You might need something else in your inventory when you give the bar. It's been so long since I've done MM, but just run through the things in your head of what you need, and then try again.

 

Don't you have to use it on the Wall of Fire or whatever?

Gold bar, monkey corpse or monkey bones, Monkey Dentures and M'amulet mould you have to have in your inv.

 

cant really remember, why don't you just go to runehq or other site that has quest guides and look it up?
