Dispute regarding scam report

Didn't get the full story about that whole staking situation but here is what Eva left me :

Not sure if my ToS is valid or not (it was implemented because these streamers kept doing this free commission staking, and resulting in 3 of my accounts being banned), but if not I can immediately refund the money, and just get it back from Eva later, this whole situation is pretty cringy.

Kk, here’s the full story according to what all parties claim from start to finish, only posted what I got from Eva, before class, in my earlier dispute.

At our website www.boglagold.com , we rent out maxed mains for the price of 1.5-1.75m 07GP per hour, with a 3m 07 GP deposit, as a safety for the whip, and so that people stick to the purpose of the account (staking), and not seeking any rule breaking. Our renting service getting popular was a double-edged sword, on one hand we were getting a lot more business, but on the other hand these gaming twitch streams started treating our accounts as disposable, doing free “commission” staking. At first we didn’t think this was an issue, because they weren’t actually making money off, but our accounts started being banned shortly after the larger streams, likely because viewers were reporting the stream to jagex.

To counter this, we implemented new rules as stated in our terms of service: http://www.boglagold.com/terms .
8. No streaming whatsoever is permitted on the account. If you are caught streaming, your deposit and everything on the account will be seized.
9. Commission staking while on the account is not permitted. If you are caught commission staking your deposit and everything on the account will be seized.

These rules were meant to stop people from abusing the accounts in such ways where it exposes them to high rates of being banned, due to the pattern of streams being followed by bans.

Now onto the actual situation. From what I gather, Isaiah, rented our account last night, and started streaming. Originally, Eva also thought he was doing free “commission” staking for his gaming group “logic gaming”, but this wasn’t the case. Due to already being banned three times due to streamers and our ToS being updated, Eva and Joe gathered some proof quickly and then kicked him off the account, in order to evade a ban.

Eva didn’t get any proof of the commission staking part, so for the purpose of this dispute, he only broke term #8.
Eva held onto the money due to term #8, and then informed me of what happened when I got online. Moreover, the account he was streaming with, got permanently banned:

So at this point it is clear he broke our terms (Atleast #8 ), and that he is aware of our terms, considering he denied streaming.

I am fully aware that our terms might be invalidated by Sythe, considering how steep they are – as mentioned before it was done to prevent, and not to compensate. That being said, as I’ve told many mods, I’m 100% willing to reimburse them regardless of the account being banned. I realize this is probably a grey area and am willing to compensate them (the group renting my account) should it be deemed fit. I’ve already offered to have mods hold the cash while the verdict is reached, but haven’t found any interested in that, likely due to the amount in question (193m + 2 guthans sets). If there is worry of these terms being abused, rest assured, if these terms are validated by Sythe, anything obtained from the consequences of breaking the rules will be donated to charity.

Okay, so apparently there was more to this than I had originally thought.

After speaking with Bogla and with Eva for an hour, I've figured out what happened in regards to our situation.

On January 13th, I rented one of Boglas Max mains from Bogla Joe. Approximately half way into my rental, I contacted Eva to complain about being called a scammer and getting PMs saying that I had scammed people. Some people also asked me if I was going to stream again.
I contacted Eva because I never streamed or scammed and wasn't sure of what was going on. After trying to talk to Eva, she banned me from their services.

Eva would not discuss the situation with me at all and was being quite rude. (More about this later).

Bogla contacted me today stating that I had been framed and that The Bogla Team wanted to refund me.

According to Bogla, prior to me renting, two people named Curtis and Isaiah had rented the same account. They had sent fake messages between the account and I rented and their accounts to send to Bogla to make it look like I was commission staking. This caused Eva to boot me off the account. Today, I was refunded 2x my deposit and rental fee by the Bogla Team.

This entire issue was the effect of misjudgement and trusting the wrong people.

It turns out that Isaiah, AKA Logik who got Bogla banned, was commission staking on stream and scammed a bunch of people. Bogla had the right to boot Isaiah from the account as 1) They framed me. This caused me to lose my money and to ruin a friendship. 2) They were streaming on Boglas account when in the ToS it states that they are not allowed.
3) They manipulated Eva and used their image to trick her into scamming me and giving them the chance to scam.

I have talked to Bogla and I know for a fact he is trustworthy. The Bogla Team had to take precautions and in the end everything was sorted.

The Bogla Team does not deserve to be banned.


Due to Logik(Isaiah) and Curtis's actions, Boglas account was banned on runescape. I believe that the 193M and 2 guthans sets recovered on the account should be given to Bogla as their account was banned. This would serve as payment to them. Their ToD states that items left on the account will also be kept by Boglas Team.

Please Unban The Bogla Team, they did not do anything wrong. Logik and Curtis are manipulative and not trustworthy. Logik should be banned, not Bogla.

I've had this up for a bit waiting for a RS moderator, but I'd just rather deal with it now than keep users waiting.

Even google cache shows the terms to list no streaming/c.staking. It doesn't matter how "strict" they are, there's a choice to rent or not. By agreeing to the terms and renting an account, they've decided the terms are worth it. Breaking them has severe punishment, but that's the choice of the rentee.

I don't know about this framing nonsense. I do know that the user Logik Gaming was streaming on Bogla's account, which is against their ToS, and led to the account being banned. This, in my eyes, deserves reimbursement of all funds on the account as well as the value of the account itself. User Logik Gaming will be banned until he pays these in full.

The bogla team was fully within their right to reclaim the accounts, as their ToS were being actively broken.

All members of the Bogla team requested for unban.
