Bumping

So, i've been wondering, what is considered "excessive" bumping? I was given a point on my account for this, but I've seen other people get warnings on their thread before a point added.

Anyways say for instance I have a thread for selling an account. Now if someone posts and asks me a question and I respond, do I still wait 8 hours from my last bump or is responding to a question considered a bump?

Moved to Sythe Support. The rule is once per 8 hours, and responding to questions and whatnot resets the timer to 8 hours from when you responded.

As for other cases being handled differently, some mods handle it slightly different. There is no "standard" way to handle it, so we use our best judgment.
