What do you think of global warming?

Ok personally, i know global warming is there, i just do not see it as bad as people think it is. The world goes throw these cycles, and these are one of those cycles. I know we are not doing good for the atmosphere, just what do you think. Also a little off note fact is that mt. Everest gave so much pollution that it covers 100 years for what the oil companies pollute. So post what you think.

I think Global Warming is going to give us vast weather differences and we will be experiencing a lot of changes in the wealther, colder winters, hotter summers, stronger tornados, bigger hurricanes and all that. so i think we should stop polluting, and wasting a shit load of energy and conserve a little bit. but just simple changes in the levels of energy we use could overall make this a cleaner and safer inviorment to live in.

It's clearly a problem, virtually all scientists agree on it. The ones who don't are those who have watched some conspiracy video on YouTube.

Yes. I have heard that scientists that this will really be getting worse within the next 2 decades.

If that is indeed true, then making non-gas cars or trying to stop it will not work.

It will take decades to figure out the perfect energy saving car, and a decade to get it into production, and at least 5 decades more for everyone to switch to one, right? By that time, it'll be too late.

 

Actually after thinking about it, my view has changed a little, as i think humans have a small impact on it. Think about it, this is natural just like with the ice age, this is the same thing. We will see in about 200 years.

Global warming is of course real as most of us know.

Humans are creating a big part in it. We decide to go out and drive our cars, the co2 will get into the air and decrease the ozone layer.

With the ozone layer decreasing and the carbon levels rising=trouble. The Ultra Violent rays get in through the ozone, the weaker it is the more rays get in which causes a dramatic rise in the air tempertures.

The air tempertures rise and the polar ice caps melt contributing to rising sea levels. also, this causes many of the polar animals die out from lack of ice.(exolar bears.)

The sea level rising will have a major impact on the geographical maps of the united states. The oceans will cover many parts of the world, such as, New York, india,places where millions of people live. This will cause us to change the geographical maps of the world. The reason is because so much of the world will have melted or be under water.

Take a look at antartica. look at the south wester part of it now. look at this in 1980. much of it has melted. people live in these places and will die.

We can stop global warming. we are now starting to use solar panals. these collect the suns energy. This may sound funny but we will even be using grass roofes in the future,also. what this will do is collect water from rainfall and power toilets, faucets, showers,ETC. we now are using compact flurecents.

We can slow it down and maybe even stop it. don't give up on the earth and think it's over. each person does it's part and that's it. in the future some of these ideas will happen and slow global warming down.

it is bad we might have our polar ice caps melt and raise the sea level that means we will all get washed away!

 

...it is a conspiracy by petroleum companies to get rid of competition...get these greenies and hippies behind environmental groups to lobby the government to maintain their monopoly by not allowing the building of new refineries and constrict supply...also the uneconomical production of bio fuels...which guess what? Cost 2-4 times more, even use fossil fuels in their production and still produce CO2
