    USB Splitter question
    Basicly what I want is this:

    My external HDD has 1 usb, is it possible to get a cable that splits it in 2 (see picture)? After some surfing I only found usb-hubs, which is not really what I'm looking for

    I believe what you're looking for is a USB Switch, whether or not it will work how you want it is beyond me, I don't connect my USB's to a TV..

    You couldn't use the drive on both at once though..

    Try a KBM switch? Most of the time they have screen options as well
