To those who think a ban lasts a year...

Year today I was banned and it doesn't look like it will expire

 

It wont. I have one like these too, have been one year and a couple of weeks, and it hasnt expired :S Too bad, almost got 99 mage on that main xD

The second apeals only happened because jagex wants to make sure that the first wasent sent by a hacker or something, so just to be fair they reopened it ONCE.

Maybe not a year, but they the 1st offense is 14 days now .

 

Bans are 14 days, 20 days, 30 days, perm ban now.

 

Why the heck would you think it lasts a year lol take defil3d for example over 2-3 years still banned for macro

 

So is it a perma ban now?

 

Pretty sure that's what it says to every 1 with a ban lol some people don't know that the meaning of permanent isn't just 1 year it's forever!

Nah, still 14 day for first offence as far as I know- he was banned a year ago when they were still doing perms

One of my accounts got banned for macroing. It only lasted 21 days. I have never heard of one taking a year. Permanent, but never a year.

 

- People that got permanently banned before May 2010 will remain banned (You can appeal or put your name in account review thread. to undo this)
- People that got banned for macroing after May 2010 will get temporarily banned from the game (14 days for the first offense 21 days for the second offense and permanent for the third offense.
However each of these bans will remain in your account history for one year.
after one year the ban gets removed from your account history and everything will start over again. So if you get banned again you will get a 14 day ban instead of 21 days etc,etc.

People who talk about one year bans are generally people that have problems reading, or are just stupid.

Ok first of you stated that: "anyone banned BEFORE May 2010 will be unbanned if they put their name in the account review thread" that's not true buddy, for one the Jagex account review thread has been closed for 2 months and two it says in bold red print on the the thread that accounts banned for macro's wont be considered, want some proof? It won't get unbanned, I have a skiller that's been banned for a little over a year now too.

 

This is bs...I had an account banned for over 3 years and it recently got unbanned, how ? I don't know.....its up to jagex
