Yes it would, but you should save money and go with the 1333 ram over the 1609, as you computer only can handle up to 1333 it would be a waste.

Also, i dont know what you are doing, but anything over 8 gigs of ram is usually overkill, and you will never use that much.

As for the 12GB, I might not use it 100% but I dont have enough with 6GB.
I study applied informatics and I run some heavy programmes and happen to have a bot open too! ;)

As for the 1333 ram over the 1609, would that differ alot?

You're not really going to notice anything in terms of BUS speed, if you need more RAM for the simple fact that you are running more programs and such, then just buy extra RAM and be done with it.

They are compatible and would work together, but you won't see any speed increase, therefore you're wasting your money.

Its just I need more than 6GB RAM. Because I run some heavy programmes :)
So this should solve my problems, this upgrade, no?

Oh yes, you would see the difference in terms of RAM size, but the BUS speed you would see no difference in.

I would get this one instead - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231356

It's cheaper, and hosts no differences from the one you posted, aside from the faster BUS speed which your Motherboard doesn't support.
