broncidis leading to death?

okay well long story short.
i had a high fever went to docters said i had strep throught and
broncidis, i was googling it and it said it can lead to death.........
to be honest this kinda scares me is this true?

The chances are slim. People die from it, yes, but it's not very common and usually happens in poor countries or to people who don't get it treated.

Get it treated, take medicine, etc..

 

I've had bronchitis numerous times, it takes time and rest. I've never taken any medicine for it though, other then pain relievers for the chest pain/throat pain.

 

Like anything, if it goes untreated it can result in death.

It can if its bad enough but as said above. Chances are pretty slim. Don't worry about it, you are being a hypochondriac like me XD.

 

Bronchitis is only a death threat if you have chronic bronchitis.

Bronchitis will kill you however if you decide to run outside in the rain naked for a few hours.. or do stupid things, stay in bed, get over the sickness.

Also dont let it get to pneumonia, thats worse than bronchitis, but comes after it.. if so you will have to be hospitalized

Many seemingly harmless illnesses can lead to death, but that's not surprising, think about it, ANYTHING can lead to death; eating, sleeping, walking, etc.
