    I've doen something like this before. 10 seconds wait while down, push up and right back down... I made it to like 2 1/2 or 3 mins, not sure haha

    These push up challenges need to stop. I'm seeing so many on twitter YouTube etc.. "100 push ups a day" and what not.

    Problem is doing that is extremely over developing one part of the body. I honestly feel less than 10% of all people who partake in these challenges do proper work to develop the other side. Such an imbalance is created in the muscle and when that happens you get serious injuries. Seriously... you'll separate your damn tricep from your shoulder.

    But thats just my .02 cents =)

    I don't necessarily think it's an alternative, more of a milestone. Once you reach a point you can complete it then you've achieved that milestone. I wouldn't recommend it as a workout routine.

    did you watch the video?
    This isnt doing x amount of push ups a day challenge, you can either do it or you can't. I think its a cool thing to try out to see if you can do it or not and it can also be a great core exercise.

    Yeah I saw it. My point however was targeted toward the people who would have trained with 100+ push ups daily hoping it helps them with challenges like this or completes other challenges.

    What are you even talking about. Doing 100 pushups if you are reasonably fit and no past injuries has a 0% chance of "separating your damn tricep from your shoulder"

    Imbalance from doing pushups ? wtf.. what other side are you talking about

    I'm a little confused, surely training 100+ push-ups a day would greatly increase your ability to complete this challenge?

    Yeah i started struggling around there. One of my old Personal Trainers taught me how to withstand stuff like this, I was around a 10-12 minute plank before :p

    Haha, i get that. I've played some sports, and having someone there you're trying to impress either a, makes you perform that much better or b, completely throws you off your game and messes you up.
