Boxing Methods

Hey guys, I'm maxed melee and I box stake. My question is, is it more beneficial to switch between attack (punch) strength (kick) and defense (block), or just leave it on attack and hope I win? Does changing your attack style make a difference? Any tips?

**EDIT** At the moment I've been switching styles of attack and I am on a (7 wins) winning streak. Is this my luck or does this really work?

Eh, I think boxing is ALL luck... The only "trick" that sounds plausible is the one where u use Punch/kick when attacking and block when your getting hit. Theoretically it should give you +3 def when u get hit and +3 att/str when you attack

 

My only question for that method is, does the game respond to your constant switching or does it take a second to register the style you're using and apply the correct stats.

To me I've noticed boxing seems like a pattern. One person gets a decent amount of hits, then the other. So the way I've been playing is, kick when I assume I will hit, and block when I assume he is going to hit.

I'm not quite sure if these methods work at all or is it really just 50/50

I think it really is luck and I bet that there's a delay to the stat difference just like there is with everything else, for example prayers.

It's completely luck. I've won and lost so much it's not even funny.

One method I found is fairly effective, is kickboxing. Switch between kick and punch every other hit. Other than that, a big majority of it is luck. I actually decided to go boxing after i read this, and right now I'm up about 250m

 

I'ts propably 95% luck 5% att style. i recommend changin between kick/defensive

 

This is the only thing I've known to give the slightest advantage when it comes to maxed boxing

Boxing is %100 LUCK. Kick/Punch/Block all you want they are all the SAME.

 

Honestly, it's luck. The only thing you can do is start attacking and hope lol..

 

I only use attack which seems to work well for me, i'm 8-2 right now.

 

I notice that I get a lot less losses when I switch at certain times, and in the process of cleaning someone sometimes I will do a stake with them where I won't switch at all and I lose, but then continue to clean them by switching at certain times.

 

When would you switch? I have been thinking about making a staker.

 

100% luck, I've lost 240m, won 1.2b, then went n lost it all in less then 20 mins. I mostly use block, seems to make a small difference, but I never kick.

 

Ive honestly never noticed much of a difference between sticking with one fight mode, or switching between hits. Ive won/lost just about as much using attack, as I have switching att/block.

 

Don't know tbh.

Boxing is very boring imo

rather just do a rapier/whip fight
