Some help about an iPhone 5

    Hey,
My parents are traveling to Istanbul, I heard iPhones are cheap there (Compared to Israel, in Israel it's about 1.2K USD)..
So, what I'm asking is.. What happens if they buy it from Vodafone and I'm not a Vodafone user, can I change it to fit my carrier in Israel?
Please don't answer me if you're not sure and don't suggest my a Galaxy S3/ any other Android/WP8

Dont take my word for it, but i believe the new iphone uses a new type of sim card, so your provider would have to have those. I would call vodaphone and see what they have to say, someone their should know.
