    Where can I find a copy of this I can run from a flash drive, preferably already setup where all I have to do is dl and copy to flash, plug in and restart comp. as I have been battling with my new computer for the past 6 hours and don't wish to deal with much if anymore bs for today

    thanks in advance. and if possible already have java installed would be a good bonus.

    lol one last question how big of a flash will I need to use this.

    Speaking of a battle, good luck getting all your drivers for it installed(Graphics, internet, ipod) if your looking for a ready to go OS then linux is NOT for you, you'll most likely spend hours looking for a wifi driver for your internet card(if you use wifi) it's a nice operating System but it's not setup to go right away

    but if you really want to give it a go

    Ubuntu.com ; it will tell you how to run it from a usb or disk you need about 3gb space the iso file is 650mb

    well supposedly everything is installed so I'm thinking something is wrong with the HD. I ask about ubuntu because I use another linux os known as puppy linux which runs 100% in ram. only problem with it is it's a pain to install anything as there is about 50 steps just to install something unless it was specifically built for the os so idk just wore out and tired of dealing with it so taking a break til tomorrow.

    well I am actually, but as of late I have been toying around with linux I know a little but not a lot lol
