Best F2P Range expierience?

I have started a F2p Range Tank which i'm turning into my main and members in the future.
Current stats:
20 Attack (Quested)
1 Strength
32 Defence (Will Get 40 After DSlayer) (Wanna Quest For Me)
45 Range
12 Magic

What stats would I want to get while I'm f2p just to have fun in F2p. I'm not looking for Ko's with strength but maybe clan pk. I hope to become a Free Lancer soon.

Would 70 Range 40 Defence 60 Mage be okay?

And On Topic, Where are the best places to train range f2p. I have about 7k bronze arrows atm, i'm buying 30k in the G.e. Getting a little at the moment. I might go to minotaurs and loot iron arrows while training with the bronze ones.

Any more ideas/Tips/Advice?

 

Minos is good, but don't rely on the iron arrow drops. The best way to get Bronze Arrows is buying them from Lowe... 1k a day that way compared to the 300-400 you get from the GE trickle.

Flesh crawlers IMO or hill giants will get you money.

 

sling is equivalent to shortbow + bronze arrows, never runs out of ammo and its free.

no.. with the sling, you never require the arrows. and also, it enables you to wear a shield, meaning you can train on stronger monsters. mossies with addy [since your currently 32 def, which btw you can get to 35 and quest dslayer for 40 exactly] with a sling could prove well, give things trials. or deadly red spiders under varrock. those are great when you have a decent def level.

 

Hill giants maybe, but they are crowded these days. So try lesser demons or something in barbarian dungeon

When I trained my range in f2p I usually did the following monsters and I will give a little rundown on each.

Minotaurs: Got many, MANY iron arrows from these and decent experience, there was a nice safe spot as I was on a pure, which isn't a problem for you obviously but truthfully if you don't have to get hit, then why get hit. DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THE SAFE SPOT IT WAS A WHILE AGO.

Hill Giants: Hill Giants were great but usually overcrowded unless you play at random times during the day where you could find a good world. You can either bury or sell their bones which provides either good prayer experience or money, it's a good setup if you can find the right world for it.

Flesh Crawlers: With defense as you have I feel like the Flesh Crawlers would be a nice fit. They drop a lot of Fire Runes and although they are usually pretty crowded I never really noticed a problem with getting a solid amount of experience here.

Barbarian Village Main House: This place could probably only work for you up to about 50 range, if that even. This is more a place for lower levels but I always got up to 40 range here so if you wanted to you could give it a shot, there is a table which allows for easy training with the ability to use a safe spot.

Other Possibilities: The Red Spiders in Varrock (As someone had mentioned), Skeletons in the Varrock Sewers, Moss Giants (As someone had mentioned), and lastly, as someone had mentioned, Lesser Demons (Decent loot but much more risky to do)

Thanks for the VERY THOURGOH ANSWER. I REALLY appreciate it. Tommorow i'm going to try Minotaurs after I buy a few more arrows. AutoFighterPro gives me a Safespot option so i'm going to use it and loot all the iron arrows I can. I might go to Mossies one day because i'm going to want 44 prayer. My goals are

70 range
44 Pray
40 defence

I'm going to try and get members after that.
