Botting Dead?

I'm considering coming back to play RS3 but recently have started to be less inclined due to the fact that it appears that botting is dead. I'm seeing a lot of people say that their accounts are getting banned etc due to the use of bots and so I just want to know if it's possible to bot or if it's just too risky.

Don't bot on rs3 on your main, if you have a throwaway account go ahead but be aware the ban rates are high currently.

I guess we got to wait for Rid's new Genesis bot which (is never coming out lol)

 

They actually ban accounts that don't bot too.. might as well..
