[Botting] Can Jagex link accounts?

Well, this thread regards membership payments and botting. I'm thinking of starting a goldfarming account. But, I'm wondering if there is any risk using my credit card which I use to pay for 3 other accounts to pay for this one? I will only be botting 2 of the 4 accounts subbed through my card.

In short, is there anyway Jagex can link accounts through membership payment? [unlike the usual I.P. method] So.... should I just buy the more expensive ''pin'' on the botted account? Help would be appreciated.

 

They'll be able to link your accounts as fast as Santa can build the entire Lego StarWars Death Star! (That shit takes forever to build, trust me!) XD.

They've banned accounts linked through the same credit card for macroing. If you care about your botting just go buy a 1-month membership card at the store, or buy a pin here off Sythe for RSGP.

Well they might... Nobody really knows... Buy a pin from a trusted seller and problem solved? Then they don't ban you after another payment

 

I've used lots of spam accounts before to spam the hell out of MMG/Marks clan chats before and they caught me on my supposed "main" account. It only got a week mute but was actually quite suprised they did that.

All jagex knows is that my little sibling, or cousin could of used my laptop to spam those clan chats with and I could of just luckily logged onto my account when the incidents occured...Goodfight! =p

i was banned multiple times for botting and my main never got a blackmark for it... so im guessing its a no ?

 

I did a thread about this a little while ago and no one had heard of it happening.

 

They can and they do. If you bot, you will never be a Player Moderator.

 

If they really wanted to, they could.
They simply don't who was in control though.

For example, I bot on my IP address with a noob account and he gets banned.
I play on my other account which is legit and theoretically, they can't do anything as they don't know how many siblings I have, who was playing, etc.
I'd think this would go for the Credit Card as well, but there is a chance they COULD take it as fraud and not allow your CC to buy anymore RS membership/block it completely.

TLR I wouldn't take a chance using my CC to buy membership for bot accounts.

 

Wow, I have 2 credit cards. One for the bank up at school and one for the banks back at home. I might use the other one just incase.... I have never heard of this happening either... Hope they wouldn't do that.

 

They can link accounts so freaking fast with IP, ofcourse they keep track when you login you logged in last from: vicoptusnet.200.etc.

Although, they choose not to link macroing accounts this way because other people might play runescape on your computer, although they do use this method if severe rules have been broken.

Duh common sense.

 

im pretty sure they cant, lets say you and your brother both play runescape. if one person is a botter and they catch him they cant ban everyone that is on the same credit card because you could be legit

So true, unless it's on another account within the same IP and you just blame your sibling that they autoed on an account that you share the same IP with.
