    Botting Account Studies

    Hi all,

Im going to be doing some studies to try and figure out what Jagex looks for when banning botted accounts. IE does talking in the bot client help, breaks (even if they are only one minute), botting different things, suicide patterns, and if membership affects your chance of being banned.

    HOW YOU CAN HELP:
    - Pm me lvl 3 accounts you have to spare
    - Work with me to figure out what Jagex looks for
    - Post anything you think they look for that i should test

    NOTES:
    - I will be taking donations for pins and such later
    - I do need as many 'noob' account as possible (if you have a tut island bot taht would be awsome)
    - I would like the communities help

    Updates & Findings:
25/8- Started a study on botting w/ and w/o breaks
26/8- Stared a new account donated by "D-twon" it will be have breakings of 6 hours playing one hour break with that pattern.
    - Also added the Sythe Community Joint account (http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=7106375#post7106375) Sign up!
27/8- ran everything as planned, still need more help with the joint account. sign up if you can!
    28/8-
    29/8-
    30/8-
    31/8-
    1/9-

bot an acc using breaks then one not using breaks. bot an account and post screenies with the username in it and some without the username in it. Make the display name on an acc iamabotter or something too and just see if it gets banned, make a username like IllIlIIlll and see if it gets banned.

Rather save the money for pins and such if people can donate accounts, or if someone here already has the bot. If you know anyone with it please let me know!

I don't believe jagex can detect how many hours a day you play. People have played 15 days straight and haven't been banned (even months after stopping.) The only reason 24/7 botting is riskier is because you are on for longer; more opportunities to get reported.

This is completely wrong, jagex is able to check how long any ip is logged into any part of the site, whether the ip is a threat as a botter or not is null, but they can sure as fuck tell how long you were online for, exactly how many seconds between every click you take, and exactly every action your character has made.

well they can tell how long you HAVENT been on (at the login screen it says you last logged in X many day ago from X ip) so who is to say that they cant tell how long you are logged in?

If someone is logged on for 15 straight days without getting reported and no randoms you know Jagex doesn't ban players just based on time logged in. Emperia botted soul wars for 15 straight days (a proggie that actually lasted 15 straight days.) Don't you think Jagex would have banned him if they could detect that he was indeed on 15 days straight?

"I don't believe jagex can detect how many hours a day you play."
That's your exact quote, I didn't say whether or not it was a reason for a ban, but I said they can tell how long you've been on for. Shit happens, people slide through the loop, at the end of the day, every account is probably in an sql database and they can hit sort by something along the lines of "uptime" or "time connected" and there you go, but I never said suiciding, or botting straight days on end would get you banned.

I don't think studying this is a smart idea. There is too much luck involved.

just sayin', a majority of bans rely on whether you get reported or not.

Set a shitty ancient autoclicker to click the exact same interval with an account next to one with random delays and see if the random delays one gets banned, and how long it takes the shitclicker to get banned, I'd say do a nonstop test on something.
