Bounty Hunter Crater

Hello. Is there any chance there will be a Bounty Hunter Poll? I know we have normal Edge pking and that already but BH Craters wasn't as simple as rushing someone take the loot and leave. For those of you who didn't play at the time Basically, There are 3 different caves to enter, 1 for lvl 3-55, which is the Low Level Crater, Then there is the Medium Level crater 50-100 cb and last but not least the High level crater which is for level 95+. The thing that made Bounty Hunter so much better in a way than PKing is first of all you would get whatever the person was wearing obviously BUT after looting the items you would have to wait 180 Seconds (3 Min) to leave The cave so you could bank your stuff, and many people will probably say for an example Medium Level crater isn't fair because a lvl 100 will be able to kill a lvl 60 and that's just the way it is which makes it even harder and therefore you could also create like Clans in there to protect eachother.


Note This is coming from a Level 67 pure so i am not some lvl 100 main who was gonna camp lvl 50s.


I wrote this out on the forums and none replied so i am assuming it was a bad idea. what do you guys think about it?

 

Bounty hunter is a terrible idea it basically made having a pure pointless because they couldn't keep up in the middle crater. Not to mention when bounty hunter was installed was the same exact time runescape started going down hill.

Stop trying to ruin 07, ive seen people making threads on the rs forums like "vote to bring back the EP system", "vote to bring back bounty hunter" and so on, this is Runescape 2007, these things did not exist, and should not exist.

They were implemented as substitutes to the removal of the willdy, and very bad ones at that, the willdy is still in-game, so therefore these options are NOT needed.

 

Bounty hunter was designed very poorly as a quick and dirty fix for dangerous pvp. The only thing that made it fun was that all PK'ers were in one spot. But if themed worlds come through the voting process it's going to be easy to find activity in the wilderness anyway.

 

Bounty hunter crater was the most unbalanced pking system the game has ever had. I wouldn't vote for it back

 

They stated they didn't have any backup data from august 2007 further. So Bounty Hunter is impossible, even if it was I doubt people would agree on it.

 

Bounty craters was fun as shit. Ofc I spent most of that time having a blast eluding others for 180 seconds while I RWTed god armor sets.

 

Zero support. Fuck Bounty Hunter. I had fun transferring shit back in the day, though.

I think the wild is sufficient enough for PKing. Making any drastic changes would lead the 07 version down the same road of the EoC version.
