Bot messed up.. How long before ban? ;P

So I set my bot off mining pure ess today at like 8am (Rsbot, using TnT Essence miner) and normally I find rsbot pretty good with randoms... Apart from Prison Pete. Anyway, at about 9am, guess which random I get? Yup - Prison Pete.

I came back home at about 5pm to find my bot clicking the same spot over and over again whilst trying to do Prison Pete.. It'd been doing this for roughly 8 hours straight.

I'm pretty much waiting for a ban now, and contemplating suicide botting untill I get once since it'll only be temp. What do you guys think? how many days before I get banned, if you think I'll get banned at all? Should I suicide bot untill I do? You had any similar experiences?

 

Odds are you won't get banned, my account did the same thing with scaperune for 10 hrs, been 1 month and no ban...

Ahh well.. I'm still prepared for a ban. Best to expect the worst, ehh? I'll be pretty chuffed if I don't get one though. ;P

 

You won't get banned unless you got reported a couple of times.

 

I would suicide bot anyways. I did it on my skiller, got 99 thieving and mining, then got a 12 day ban.. 9 more days banned =[.

My 130+ main got stuck @ rcíng for about 2-5 hours? i was gone so dunno for sure, but i haven't got banned yet, so don't panic about it just lay down and see what jagex will do.

 

If i were you i would just suicide as long as you can, if you are sure that they only give temp bans.

 

They only give temp bans. First offense is 14 days, second is 9 days. SO I wouldn't worry about it too much. Relax and bot. Botting allows people to do more productive things, and always promote botting over legit play.

Yeah - Happened countless times with me. I've gotten stuck for hours, and they didn't do a thing! No ban. I wouldn't worry about it either, like I said just sit back, relax, and bot.

 

Wouldn't the second offense be longer? or a perm?

No, I'm on a 14 day temp ban and it clearly says the second offense will result in 9 days.

 

Ehm.. I honestly think the second temp is 20+ days.

 

It's happened to me tons of times below, I highly doubt you will be banned, and if you do, it will be a temporary ban, so...no worries, .

 

i dont think u will be banned, i botted rune essence for 8 hours without completing rune mysterius :s

 

I once left my hunter bot on all night, 2 hours after i went to bed i got the random where you have to kill the pheasant (I think it's freak forester) and was wearing a bow with no ammo so the bot could not kill it lol. It did this for about 8 hours and i never got a ban So your most likely in the clear!

 

My bots have messed up before, never been banned.

 

Don't sweat it, temporary bans are back. I'm a member of Rsbots.net, and I post my RSN there all the time. Just recently I received a temporary ban after over a month of literally 24/7 suiciding.

So don't worry.

 

f2p is perm bans, make sure to keep the membership going even when you're temp banned.
