I need help with my iMac.
I have backed-up most of my files and I just need help restoring it to factory settings?

I have a disk that I got with it which says: "Mac OS X Install DVD" - I place it into my computer and it doesn't mount it, it shoots it straight back out.

Help?

EDIT: Change title too - 'Factory Settings?'. Accidentally made it Fav.

 

are you holding the "C" key when you put the disc in?
