APOS is back! And FREE!

Hello, just posting here to let everyone know that APOS is back and now has a free lite version (which will run all the old APOS scripts).
For those who don't know - APOS is a bot for Runescape Classic.

The bot has several functional scripts which are open to the public and several of the old bugs have been removed.

Here are some things that you can expect from the new APOS:

• Logout timer removed (would log you out frequently while botting)
• You may now use hop(world) to hop servers and getWorld() to return server number
• OCR settings save properly (would always revert back to FOCR)
• Sleeping should use less memory now
• F11 ID debugging menu (unfinished atm, works with NPCs for now)
• Stouts is no longer built in, you can download it in the script forum (nade's autofighter and mofo's uncerter are still built in)
• Other small things that were bothersome

I've gone ahead and posted most of the basic scripts in the script section.
Many of the feature-rich scripts will be posted soon as I'm just waiting for the people who wrote them to post them, since I don't want to take any credit for their hard work.

Looks pretty neat. I really want to give it a go, but my only RS Classic account is also my original RS2 Account, and I don't really want to risk it being banned. I might buy an account with Classic access and try it later though.

 

I'm running APOS atm and its great, also using my original RS2 account if that makes you feel any better, chances of being banned I believe are next to none.

 

Yeah I know their is an incredibly slim chance of getting banned, considering Jagex no longer moderate or maintain RSC. I just personally don't want to take that tiny risk.

 

Does Jagex even check RSC for bots anymore? There's like 500 people online everyday now and that's it

It's not regulated officially anymore, but if a moderator ever hopped on and saw you were botting I'm sure they wouldn't hesitate to ban you.

 

Yeah, this is about the only form of detection they employ. A mod has apparently been making rounds recently so it's smart to bot in secluded areas.

I get this error when running the bot.. My firewall is fine so as my Internet is working. I also put my auths in bot properties file.. This is frustrating

 

There are a lot of "Help" Topics on the A=pos forum, have you tried reading them?

 

I have checked out all the topics and its still not working.. I put aposbot.com login info to bot properties and still doesnt work..
