What area do you live in? What concerts have you been to? Which ones are you planning on going? When and where are they?

My next concert i'm going to is 26th of February or something, its like a music festival called "Soundwave". Theres going to be some pretty big bands there, heres the line-up (i bolded my favourites in the list, i know about 98% of all those bands though and i like about 80% - 90% of them):

How could you not have In Flames or Lacuna Coil in your list of favourites?

Epic concert, I wish I could go again this year, but they are already sold out

A Wilhelm Scream + Story Of The Year + Support (Antillectual and Red Lights Flash), 11th of May 2008, in Rotterdam
Small Stage, great crowd. Loved the music, since AWS and SOTY are one of my favourite bands

The Casualties + The Unseen + Block1a (Dutch punk band), 21th of August 2008, in Dordrecht
Great combo, I love The Casualties and The Unseen and I already knew Blok1a, so yeah... There was a kid there, like 10 years old or something and he was invited on stage by The Casualties, pretty awesome.

Heaven Shall Burn + Sick Of It All + Terror + Born From Pain + Discipline + H20 + War Of Ages + The Setup (Persistence Tour 2008), 10th of December 2008, in Tilburg
We actually went for HSB only, but the other bands were also pretty cool. We didn't see H2O, because we had to catch the train. There we're quite alot of skinheads there, but didn't really cause any trouble... Even a black dude went into the pit with them xD

I'm going to:
All That Remains + The Haunted, Friday, Februari 13th, in Amsterdam
I think that this one is going to be fucking awesome, since I am going with like 5 friends. Others were just with 1 or 2 friends.

 

I can't say i'm a fan of In Flames, its like too much metal for me, not my style.

I think Lucana Coil is ok, i'd have to listen to them again to remember who they are lol. But yeah, neither are favourites because they just aren't my style.

 

I went to a many many many concerts, I don't even remember them all. My favorites were

- Warped Tour (like every year for 5 years)
- Bamboozle
- All time low
- We the kings
- Avenged sevefold
- Bullet for my valentine

Those were my favorites. I almost got killed at A7X lol, but it was well worth it.

I live in Connecticut in the smallest town possible. In that last two years, I went to Ozzfest which was amazing, Mayhem Festival which was also amazing, and my favorite, The Used's little tour which was beyond belief. What I plan on going to are Ozzfest now that it started back up again, Mayhem once it comes around, and possibly Taste of Chaos if enough of my friends go to it.

 

Nice, I love the Unseen and Casualties.

My local music scene died a bit right after I got into it, but it is currently regrowing, as new venues are opening.

Yeah its going to be awesome, best soundwave line-up ever in my opinion. I can't wait .


Also just thought i'd mention, the soundwave festival i'm going to goes for 12 hrs i think, from like 10am - 10pm. Which is how they have so many bands playing, theres 3 stages as well. Me and my friend have already marked on the timetable of what bands we are going to see. I think each band plays for like 45 minutes or so.

 

Ahh quite close indeed. We might meet one day.
