    Hello,

I am fairly bored so I decided to make a formula to find out how much your account is worth, try it and see how accurate it is or just experiment with it!

The formula still needs some work but right now it but works great as it doesn't make the slightest level increase the price so high and it keeps it balanced for both pure accounts and main accounts.

I guess this can count as a guide as well, post for improvements!

    Contents:
    1.Classifying your account
    2.Main accounts
    3.Pure accounts
    4.Additional costs

    1. Classifying your account
If you account has 46 or more defence then you are a main account, go to the main account section, numbered 2.
If your account has 45 or lower defence then you are a pure account, jump to the pure accounts section numbered 3.
These formulae are not fully developed so pure accounts which have high skilling stats will not be able to calculate their skills accurately.

    2. Main accounts
Step 1: Find our your total level, then subtract 99 for each 99 stat you have.
Note: To find out your total level, click on the stats icon in game.
Step 2: Divide the result by 6
Step 3: Now, for each 99 stat you have, add 33

Final step: The result is the cost for just the levels on your account. Save that number and jump to the additional costs section.

    3. Pure accounts
Step 1: Add your Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, and Ranged levels together.
Step 2: Multiply the result of those stats added by 2, then divide by 3
Step 3: For each 99 stat you have, add 33

Final step: The result is the cost for just the levels on your account. Save that number and jump to the additional costs section.

    4. Additional costs
For each of the equipment or quests described below, add the following number to your result generated by the equation.
Gold coins: 4 every million coins.
    Fighter torso: 5.50 each
    Penance skirt: 5.50 each
Skill cape and hood: 1 each
Red castle wars armor: 3 each
    Book of Balance: 6
    Holy Book: 10
    Unholy book: 15
    Rune Defender: 3 each
Full void: 6 for every set
Staff of Balance: 3 for each staff
Void helmet: 2 for every helmet
Recipe for Disaster: 1 for each sub quest, add an extra 2 if quest complete.
Fire cape: 10.55 for each cape
Other items: Obtain the cash value, then divide the amount by 1,000,000 and multiply by 4

Note: You can obtain your wealth by trading another player and offering your items in the trade screen. Located on the bottom of the trade screen there will be a wealth scale, which tells you the total cost of the items you offered.

The final number is how much your account is worth in USD.
If you want me to place values for some non tradeble items, please post.

Thanks to R33L2r3al for giving me a much more accurate price for RuneScape gold.
Rune defenders added, thanks to leo.

    Thanks for this guide:

To an extent this seems fairly accurate. However, when I get a price estimate on my account, it's roughly $550 USD (including gold) and with your method it's roughly $650. Not sure which one is more accurate.

Either way, this seems like a fairly decent method to find an estimate on your account.

Also for Gold Coins, it'd be more accurate to price them at $4.00 per mill rather than $4.50. That's just what I think.

    Alright, thanks for the info.
It did actually take some time to get some perfect formula that worked. Some of the formulae created didn't work as the more 99 stats you had, the lower it's value. It works now and it's closer than ever. I was thinking of making a calculator where you input your stats and it creates and estimate, this can work I have a rough idea but it will make mains cost more than pures even tho pures are harder to train with the armor limitations.

Wow, how you came up with this formula ?
My account alone with RFD done is $278 Lol.
Anyway, I have the quest cape, so does it add my value?

Just divide it by 1,000,000 then multiply it by 4 and add it. That is the value of your cape in real cash.
Yes, I did make this formula myself. :) You won't find it anywhere else!

For step 2, why not just divide by 6?

Haha! I didn't notice that, thanks for spotting it out.

You just need a buyer. I think we need a formula because account evaluations are just randomly estimated each time. I bet you if you asked to get your account evaluated again you will get a totally different price so it's not balanced when buying and selling accounts.

Thanks, I share most of my information for free :)

Woah, If this is as accurate as everyone says it is, $227 USD...I bought it for 2 pins... Each mill is 4 dollars even 200/4=50...Does that mean my account is worth 50m?

Well, I have a quest cape so it seems a bit unfair to just be counting the quest RFD for mains. (Its alright for pures.) But the 99's, say there are 2 accounts with all stats level 1, no quests, no items or anything. But they both have 46 defense (to be mains..) and 1 has 99 cooking and the other 99 rune crafting. Well both accounts would be worth the same amount. This seems a bit unfair as 99 cooking is easy and 99 rune crafting is hard and you can make a lot of money with it.

To resolve this problem maybe add a skills section for 99's and you add different amounts for different 99's.

If this was done my account would be worth around 900$.

Oh and maybe add a skillers section, I don't have many ideas for this but you could do something like combat level to total level ratio. (Divide combat level by total level.)

But the formula is very good keep on working on it! ;)
