    Login username of the account: Will provide that information to the moderators. However, after the transaction, I moved the account to a Jagex one. I have both information for the username and email of the Jagex Account.
    Terms of Service that was agreed to: TOS was mentioned. The buyer provided TOS but we had not agreed on it.
    Other relevant trade screenshots: I do not have any trade screenshots. However, I have transcripts from the buyer's discord when purchasing the account and I have downloaded the full conversation as of the 24th November 2023.

    Background
    I purchased the "mid/end game infernal iron 500m + Bank" account on 19/06/2023 shown in the transcript when I first enquired about purchasing an account on his discord. Initially, we discussed the accounts on offer and I decided to agree to purchase. I asked for TOS and he provided a screenshot of it but did not agree to one, I then asked for account recovery information in the event that the account got locked or stolen. He informed me that there was no such thing as account info and he was reluctant to give out such information for personal safety which is totally understandable. He did assure me that once it is in my email it's enough to unlock but will 99% won't happen and that he will be able to provide assistance. I trusted his word and judgement due to the vouches he accumulated. He provided the details of the account the next day and that was it.

    On 19/10/2023, I received an email on my alternate email account informing me that my Runescape Character was Transferred (I can provide an email to a mod). I tried to log in to my Jagex Account thinking it was a phishing email but was prompted with an email saying my account had been disabled. I immediately contacted the buyer and asked for assistance. The buyer asked various questions just to gather as much information to proceed to the next steps. We began to work together on what could possibly happen to the account, we thought it had received a temporary ban etc. Neither the buyer nor I did not have knowledge of how characters were being transferred and accounts being locked. We eventually came to the conclusion, that the account was not banned since we were able to search up the name on hi-scores but instead, Jagex had assumed I was the hijacker and had locked the account until the original owner recovered it. I have asked the buyer to recover the account numerous amounts, but he has only tried to recover it once with no success. I then asked the buyer to recover it on the original IP that the account was created on just to see if that made a difference, he informed me that he was planning to but never actually appealed. It was always one excuse after the other and then he showed reluctance multiple times because of other factors. I even offered to pay to recover it as shown in the discord conversation. It's been more than a month now, and I feel like there is no progress made on this matter, every time I try to reach out to the buyer there is a delayed response and a lack of communication on his part. I've been patient but I have no choice but to file a report.

    I have no issues with this person, I understand that his a very busy person outside of the internet. However, I had paid and invested money and time in the account I purchased and have not received the assistance. Overall, I would like to get the account back as I've been constantly direct messaging every day. I don't know how he hasn't blocked me yet lol.     Sorry for the delay in response here, I only became aware today, Ive had some crazy stuff happening irl so ive not been to active, i love my server/reputation & Name the most, sadly to say with the stuff going on irl atm, its the first time since the start ive been almost forced to have 0 interest/ Worry's of discord, its not important compare to real issues, That has been my main priority, Although ive found bits of time to try help out, i didn't think id have much luck as im at my new home, he wanted me to go back to my parents to attempt an appeal, Thats easier said then done, i dont really speak to them as much anymore since moving out ofcourse, So i cant just turn up there any time of day to do an appeal

    Frank made me aware of this " lock " Or what ever it is, on the the 18/10/2023
    It started with him asking me to recover the account as he suspect it to be locked due to botting that he's been doing, at first i wasnt to happy with helping due to the botting ect, Didn't really want to involve my self with that

    On the 19th/10/2023 i looked into the discord he purchased the Toa script from, and there is MULTIPLE Complaints about bans occurring in the past 2 days, Weirdly, even the owner of the discord made a statement saying hes having a issue very similar to franks, not being able to get into his jagex account / being disabled, So i think thats the reason its been locked/banned for a start, At this point, i wasn't keen on appealing it for him, and he sensed that ofcourse, then it went onto him saying the account has now maybe been stolen, so can i try for that reason? he had claimed to have emails about his jagex account being transferred, He was still able to attempt to login, and it would say disabled, not invalid password, so he still had access to the account as far as im aware from his message's / screenshots

    Although, 10 ish days later to this, He still has access to the account's email/associated to it some way or another, Yet had emails on the 19th that it had been Stolen or something

    Some discussion of the Tos from the ticket, Happy to give the full transcript to anyone to review, i did not offer warranty with the account & I did state they are responsible after they get the email


    A couple days after the appeal failed, he wanted me to do another, while i was considering it, i went to go on runescape home page via runelite, and had this come, it made me abit paranoid about if thats due to the claim i did or what im not sure.
    Due to that, im not really comfortable trying anymore appeal's, it seems if he hadn't botted in the first place, We wouldn't be in this situation, i assume its locked but i cant be sure. Neither do i know if a locked account show's up on high scores or not.

    Abit later on, he then asked me to start downloading other internet browsers and stuff and try that way, to me thats abit far, i cant see it will make a difference

    A couple days after the access denied instant, One of my mules got banned for some 3rd party botting or something along them lines, Feel like im being targeted as thats my 2nd ever mule ban in 4 years, all seems sketch to me & Isn't worth risking more appeals from my new ip to flag my self.

    We have spoke since then, but not alot, ive not been active for the past 5/6 days, So i haven't been around to reply to him, Neither have i made another appeal since.

    I did expect some false account claims coming in on my head after the last report, Although im quite glad i haven't other then this 1.. That again, Dont seem to add up imo, Simply due to the fact after almost 2 weeks of his first claim, he was still able to change the password to his account..Thats odd.

    Somewhere along the whole convo he state's he cannot log into the home page to check if its banned or not because he dont have access to it, but he can change the pw via email and stuff, he also made an appeal saying he's moved location lately ect, but they refused his info on not the original owner, He then gave me the login details to try login, and id get this message when trying[​IMG]

    So he clearly still has info the account ( Its not stolen ) he just cannot get it unlocked due to botting ect..

    I think i provided enough here for now, Other then the ticket transcript that can be requested via discord PM

    Just a side note on the previous report, and the reason im DNT. The big debt i had with tom, thats still being paid off nicely, Currently owe around $900 left? Ish..Maybe slightly more of the top of my head with out working it all out, i just know its not fully paid yet. It will be soon..:)

    Just one of the recent bigger payments sent to tom, ( Its been in abit smaller chunks ) We're still in contact often, No issues there. That can be confirmed with him by any staff im sure,


    I understand frank you want to get your account back, But as you know, that account is very old, and i cannot even recall 90% of the information for it, So i think countless appeal's will not help, Of course i haven't blocked you hah, i respect my name, Things come up irl when you get older, and sometimes cannot be around discord / ect as much as you once was/ like to be, That dont mean i wont keep my name clean.

    Il be around to reply to this thread ect, But Thankyou staff for being patient with me not replying here, & Please bare with on replys as they may be slow ish. Not multiple days though.

    Baod's TOS makes no mention of "recovery responsibility" so he must maintain it for two years by default.

    Anyone who wishes to sell an account must maintain "recovery responsibility" (they must refund their buyer if the account is recovered or becomes locked and they are unable to unlock it) for at least a month after the sale. If you are an account seller and you do not specifically mention your recovery responsibility in your Terms of Service, by default you have recovery responsibility for two years.

    @Baod you will need to refund if you are unable to recover the account and give it back to the buyer.

    #2 Once the email is in your name, You are responsible for the account = No warranty


    Yes i did not state the EXACT words " There is no warranty " - But its clear in #1

    Yes frank did not say " Yes i agree " in them EXACT words, - But he was happy with the discussion / Deal = He agree's otherwise he'd not purchase the account, Or try an alternative Tos with me.

    I Reached out to Zora way before the report, As he is the " Expert " Out of the staff when it comes to account sales & Recovery, He even states he knew my tos, and knew there is no warranty with it

    Ive just paid off nearly a $6000 debt that sythe requested me to pay back " due to no tos "
    This trade cleary has tos, & Its clearly not been hacked, Its been locked. Its not my responsibility.

    Last time i accepted it as weirdly i cannot recover, ( well i simply think its due to Not saving info for creation accounts, Moving house, Not playing it much on my personal IP, Builders do that job ) I didn't hack the last account, Neither did i hack this one, Its locked.

    I would like to clarify what I mean when I say the TOS makes no mention of "recovery responsibility".

    Your TOS does have something mentioning recovery responsibility, but it does not follow Sythe rules and is therefore voided. Since that part of the TOS is void, you must maintain recovery responsibility for two years.

    Baod will need to recover the account or issue a refund.

    That mentions recovery responsibility, Just not in your exact words. To anybody reading it, understands it means the same thing. Since when does the community have to use them exact words, If that was the case. There would be a template for the Tos

    • If my ToS are not going to be upheld, then maybe Sythe should have some way to review and Accept everyone's services ToS so they dont automatically get over ruled by some random mod on sythe..

      I have my ToS to protect my business. Not then for them to be over ruled by said mods..


      So.. Your mentioning my tos, It must be valid this time correct? Otherwise you'd instantly do what you done to me last time, " the customer did not agree "

      Well he did not use your " Exact Words " of " I agree " But you can clearly see, in other words, he does agree because he was happy & the deal went ahead.

      So why is it ok for that to be ruled ok this time, But because i did not mention them words.. "Recovery responsibility's " Thats not?

      Like you & Zora have said my tos DOES cover me but not upto sythes standards so therefore it should be set to the minimum of 1 month not 2 years due to no tos. Because there was infact a tos in place.


      I’ve asked advice off two MODs with you being one of them. With completely different view points on this matter. That makes the ruling subjective and not fact. I believe the whole point of sythe is to be a fact based website

    Baod has been banned for scamming.
    While it's clear the customer acknowledged the tos, the warranty duration specified is not allowed on Sythe as all accounts are subject to a minimum warranty period of 1 month.
