I heard from a couple people that you could make money off blogs, and I was wondering how is that possible, how much work you'd have to put into it, and what type of networking I'd need to do to make that a reality.

I'm 18 years old and graduating in 4 months, but I'm moving out on my own in a month. I work on weekends, days of school, and half-days doing construction for this girl's dad that I'm friends with. I'm renting an apartment from this girl I'm seeings mom, and she's giving it to me VERY cheap.

I love writing, making up stories, and seeing words appear before me. I love it when I'm in school and they tell us to copy down definitions, I love expanding my vocabulary. I think getting paid to operate an online blog would be phenomenal, so how would I go about this?

Tumblr blogs, for example, can have advertisements on them if there's enough traffic. It's a lot of work to maintain and get to that level though. At least a year goes in to it I'd say. Unless you find someone selling one with a large amount of followers.
