Blackops shortcut help.

I want to pin the shortcut for multiplayer to my taskbar, but when i click it says 'steam must be running to play this game' Ways to fix this?

 

Stay logged in to Steam, and then use the shortcut. Simple.

I think if you are not logged in though, it should open up Steam and ask you to login, wonder why it is not doing that for you?

 

I'm logged in though, I always am. :S That's the problem.

 

Hmm, I had the same problem with MW2 I'm not sure if this is the fix or not as it was a while back but try logging out of your steam account and logging back in.

 

Logged out and logged back in, at the minute no error comes up but it doesn't open, and it says it is. Looked in task manager, had to go to processes to close it.

logged out again and the stupid errors back :S.
