Blacked out while smoking weed.

Long story short,

squatting down outside smoking to try and keep dry.
Ripped the bong pretty hard,
stood up fast trying not to cough,
took 2 steps
Thought "imma pass out"
Next thing I know, I'm on the ground getting rained on
Huge bump on my head,I hit the corner of a solid wood table really damn hard
All the stuff from this table was all over the patio
The lighter that was in my hand was 15 feet away from me, literally(no idea how)
Freak the fuck out thinking I might have to go to the hospital
stay awake thinking I may be concust
High as shit and have no idea how to tell if my brain is messed up or something.
Text everyone I talk to regularly to see if anyones awake and wants to hear my last words before I die.
in a daze for like 5 or 10 minutes
realize I was passed out for like 20 minutes
ice pack for an hourish and say fuck it im going to sleep
Still have bump and fucked up story.

Cant stop thinking about it.. I have never been so scared for my life before.

 

I really think you shouldn't be doing drugs, not even weed.
I suggest you either stay away from that shit or don't smoke it when you're alone. Because this is not really healthy. You might wanna go and ask your doctor about this, but it could also just be your subconscience realized you weren't doing the right thing, and knocked you out, really.

You can smoke pot if you want to, but you know it'll make you weaker after every time you smoke.

I know what I did man, It was the blood rushing out of my brain because I stood up too quickly and was holding my breath while pushing out(trying not to cough.) I've smoked for years and never blacked out before, so I doubt its my subconscious.

I just really thought I was seriously injured and it scared the hell out of me.

 

The thing was you got dehydrated, it's happened to me off bongs and even blunts. usually happens to me when i rip the bong n after i smoke a stogie. from what i learned off of it, always drink water and make sure u won't get dehydrated. it's nothing to do with the weed, its harmless

That subconscious stuff is what I heard from friends. 1 Tried to steal something from a shop, but instead he fell down to the ground. That shit happens more often, just sayin'.

I think you should be doing drugs, especially weed. I've had something similar happen to me I just got really dazed after taking a fat bong rip. Never passed out. Happy smoking

 

I have no idea what the fuck all these guys are on about...dehydration wtf? Dude in England we call this a whitey. I smoked weed for around 4 years and this has happened to me 3 or 4 times. It's happened in a pub once, just KOed led on the bar lmfao. Dw about, I think it's a drop in your blood sugar level, I've found fresh orange juice works an absolute treat for whiteying out.

And I REALLLYYYY don't recommend blazing pal, it all starts off fun, but if you have an addictive nature (and playing RuneScape probably means you do xD) it's not a good idea. I've been addicted to marijuana for years, and have recently come off it. Habit has up to £80 per week, spending all my disposable income on the shit. 17 days weed free and strong nigga. Blacking out would probably be from you standing up too fast. When i stand up too fast i get light headed and sometimes my vision blacks out for a split second because ive normaly got low blood pressure which means when i stand up too fast there isnt enough oxygen going to my brain to function properly. You might have a little bit of low blood pressure to begin with, and then smoking the weed will decrease your BP even more which makes you more likely to black out. Best things to do if you do carry on smoking weed, is to always make sure your in an open area where there isnt much for you to injure yourself on if you do pass out again, and also try and stand up slowly rather than quickly.

I passed out also about 2 years ago. I didn't even completely pass out really. I just went blind, deaf, and couldn't move my body or react to anyone around me, but was still conscious. It was really intense and scared the shit out of me. It was just one hit from a bowl and it was the same weed I had been smoking on for weeks. I never really thought much about what caused it, but after I reading this, I'm sure it was the same reason you did. I always hold my hits in for a long time and I do particulary remember squatting on my knees to hit it and then standing up really fast. It only happened to me that once in my years of smoking and hasn't happened since then, so it's nothing to worry about.

Dimethyl, you're second to last sentence describes what I did exactly. Me and my friends call them "squats" and they can really fuck you up sometimes. But only for a few seconds. I've never passed out from one before, So it must have been a pretty intense squat. I was squatting for like 10 minutes, then I hyperventilated before taking a big bong rip, then, after I hit it I stood up and inhaled some air, took like 2 steps, and thats the last thing I remember before being on the ground. I'm almost afraid to do it again.

 

All i can say is dont worry about it if you want to keep "squatting"... just try to stand up slowly next time, as with the blood pressure being low, im not sure how exactly it happens but standing up quickly makes less blood flow to your brain which starves it of oxygen, which causes the blackouts. I semi black out like i mentioned in my above post quite often if i stand up too fast normally, so just be careful and possibly do it on soft grass next time rather than on a solid ground.

 

I suggest taking in less, if your intake was more massive than normal it could cause you to black out.

 

Maybe you just need to go a bit more every time, get your body tolerance used to the strong substance (weed)

Well, I always feel like my dick is tingling and I'm really sensitive to the temperature. I tend to sweat or have goosebumps when I shouldn't. Walking around while smoking it is the worst if you need a belt. Just having to hold your pants up and the feeling of them slipping down is enough to piss me off. Always wear belts. UHM... I do enjoy it though. idk why everyones acting like it's my first time or something. I never said that.

 

Standing up quickly on it's own is quite dangerous.
If you're baked then it would probably make a big difference.

You probably just stood up way too quickly and the blood rushed through your body causing you to black out. Sometimes when I lay in the bath tub for like an hour and then I stand up quickly I almost pass out.
Good thing I don't smoke my bong in the bath tub. lol
