this may be a little off-topic but...
Police seem to be more lenient on white people and more harsh on colored people. For example, my white friends (one with a record for grand theft of an automobile) were caught with a bowl, and they were told to toss it into the woods. However, when my black friend with no criminal records got caught with the same thing, he was arrested for paraphernalia.

no clue tbh. but i have witnessed several accounts where white people have been let off with warnings, however, i haven't heard a cop going easy on a colored person yet. yes, i know more white people than colored people, but it still makes me wonder...
