Well since I know there are a lot of sports fans/athletes on sythe, why not an Official sports thread. From high/club teams to professional/international teams info can be discussed here^^.

Anything involving the current/upcoming 2009-2010 seasons of any sports is welcomed.

-NBA FINALS; Lakers vs Magic, Lakers winning 3-1=@ =@ =@ =@ ASS RAPING FTW WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-NHL FINALS; Penguins ASS RAPED THE RED WINGS FOR CHAMPIONS!
-MLB SEASON; Dodgers best team in the MLB
-FRENCH OPEN; (need info about this)


UPCOMING SEASONS:
-NFL season kicks off August 9 with preseason. First game is Buffalo Bills who just signed TO vs the Titans.

 

Lakers will dominate.
Hoping Penguins pull through.
MLB... blah.

If you are from Australia, mainly QLD and NSW, then the word Origin would be extremely important if you are a sports fan. Queensland won the first game and have the 2009 series in the bag Go the Maroons!!!!

 

Oh man, I can't wait for Datysuk to return. Quite honestly if he was there, the series wouldn't look nearly as even as it is currently. With Datsyuk out, Zetterburg's had to play a more defensive role in the series causing a seriously lagg in Wing's offensive game. I really hope he dresses for the game on Saturday.

I'm sorry, but Red Wings are the taking the cup. Especially after the blowout last night. Yes they seem like the team that gets tired due to being older, but a 2 day rest now.

Red wings will be at full strength, and it just give datsyuk a couple more days to get adjusted. Filpulla and Hossa all day!

Last night was great too, no composure at all, Crosby just can't handle the fact that Zetterberg is the better player, and always will be.

Yankees are the hottest team in baseball in a lot of analysts eyes. Also, I'm on board with all the pengs fans here - the pengs deserve to win it or at least win the next game to make the series interesting.

Well if you count the mistake made in disallowing the Jarryd Hayne try, who was penalised wrongfully for taking out Izzy, then the Morons scored, it was a 12 point turnaround. Hopefully Bill Fagigan isn't Video Ref in Game 2.

It's an interstate game held between NSW and Queensland once a year. It's like the superbowl of Australia.
