    Binge Drinking

Binge drinking is where a person who repeatedly drank to intoxication, giving up usual activities. The Studies on Alcohol defines binge drinking as an extended period, typically at least two days, during which time a person repeatedly becomes intoxicated and gives up usual activities and obligations in order to be intoxicated.

In australia the culture of binge drinking is prevalent among many communities. Like Schools, Parties, Pubs, Clubs, and may start as young as 13-14.

A study held in 2006 showed that 1|10 Australians teenagers binge drink. These statistics are shocking and eye opening,

Always on the news you see how sports stars are getting Banned from playing their game, because of alcahol related incidents,
People say, " look at the sports stars, they are meant to be our role models, Yet they drink"

Drinking, and getting drunk is in Australia's culture and most likely will always be but it must be changed. Now, how can people expect that those sports stars who are just other Australian's to not drink and fit in with the culture, they dont understand that its not just the sports stars ... its everyone.

Another study in France showed that only 1 out of 200 French teenager binge drink,

    Why is this?
It is a tradition for French kids, and families to share a meal together along with a glass of white whine, as early as the age of 3, Their Parents teach them that alcohol isn't something to fantasize and should have to be tempted with when your older, If they learn to respect it, and use it properly they are less likely to binge drink than other teenagers.

These are just some notes, I have and I want to debate on how Parents influence children, and Drinking at an early age (responsibly of course)
