Id Have To Say Spend It On A New House, Car, Go On A Holiday.. And Give Some To The Red Cross.

Buy a house.
Pay off any debts.
Spend the rest on an investment property.

Well thats only about £550,000.

And tbh, thats not exactly ALOT, its a fair amount of money. I would invest it into the bank or something.

 

Buy a smashing house and then let it out for rent. Once I've earned my money back (2 -3 years) I would but myself a house that is similar to the one I am renting out, and then earn money from doing nothing.

Invest half of it, place the other half in to a super fund for when I retire.

actually in today's world, $1 million is not that much. don't get me wrong, i would take a free $1 milion any day, but think about it. that wouldn't even be enough for an average retirement.

but back to the question... if i did get $1 million i would probably put almost all of it in the bank and let it grow through interest

No, to be honest I would probably buy a house, over where I am living you can get a semi-everyday house for 1 million dollars. It is not that much money these days.

Who knows, maybe you will get lucky 500,000 times in your life and find a $2 coin each time.
