Biggest shopping regret?

Hey guys, I saw a thread in the donor lounge about "impulse buys" and it gave me an idea for a kind of spin-off thread.


The question is: What is something that you've bought in the last couple years that you really regret buying? (Could be because of bad quality, too expensive, you don't use it etc)


Here is mine: Last week I bought a $37 razer extended mousepad because the paint on my desk is starting to peel off and I wanted something to cover it up with/rest my hands on. It was good looking and there didn't seem to be any other on the market that were the right size, so I bought it. The second that I actually started using it I regretted it right away, the very tight stitching (it was the "speed edition") made my gaming mouse completely spaz out and if you left the mouse sitting in one spot it'd jump around the screen. The rough fabric on my desk where I put my mouse (meant for writing on) is apparently a better mouse pad. Now it sits in my closet :/

I used it for a while, now its been collecting dust for 2 weeks.. Thinking about selling it soon but I'm not sure its so new, and thats where my problem starts.
Only was going to buy it because my friends where, oddly enough none of them did in the end, so Gg's there I suppose.

Vita. I will one day use it again (probably not). Returned my Kindle Fire that my mom gave me on Christmas for it (she allowed it). It just collects dust. Also my Nexus 7 which died since I never used it.

 

i bought my 3ds (120$) solely for the purpose of playing the overhyped pokemon x. What does my 3ds do now, you may ask? well, it sleeps in my gaming drawer, never to see daylight until a new pokemon game comes out.

 

bought for $68 razer blue or something like that headphones. Broken after less than month (material was weak, they basicly bursted on my head)

 

The Logitech g300 mouse, It was so shit the DPI reset each time you're pc turned off plus the marco's kept going back the defaults. So I returned it and got the g500s.

 

A $15 HP headphones. I kept receiving electric shocks when I tried talking to my mates over the microphone. Well I guess you deserve it if you bought Headphones for $15 bucks ad tried to get away with it.

Everytime i go shopping, i have shopping regrets as soon as i leave the store. lol

 

A pair of converse that were on sale; I've only worn them a few times.

 

My laptop that...

got stolen.

I miss it, but it was expensive.

 

My car stereo. It's a pop-out touchscreen, but it turns out it's a piece of shit. The software is shitty, and it doesn't have any iPod functions. It won't play music or even charge my iPhone if it's plugged into the USB slot...

Not to mention, when the screen is popped out it covers my A/C controls. So, balls.

Also, my PS3. I got it right when it came out but basically never played it, I haven't turned it on in at least 5 years.

I just recently bought a cheap ass watch that is too big, the cost to remove the links from the watch will cost more than the watch itself.
