What are those big boulders around Runescape?

I've been walking around ignoring the boulders, but I'm curious.. what are they/for?

 

Teasers for the Clan Citadels, most likely.

 

Yea I think they are teasers for citadel. Citadels are in the sky so its like these boudlers are falling off of them.

Its the new update coming out, they are like cities run by each individual clan. For example, if you run a clan your clan will have its own city. The exact details aren't known but you will be able to fight other clans citadels.

 

It's obviously the beginning of 2012.

The runescape gods got angry at botters and threw those from the sky causing a mass ban by where they land.

So if you were botting mage @ the GE, boom, the huge ass boulder lands and you're banned.

Same with where ever else they are.

Edgeville, botting fletching, One second you're stringing a yew, next second that fucking boulder lands and you're banned.

It's for the Citadel update that is happening later this month.

Basically, the area where it is is a huge ass island made of rock and boulders like that but in the sky.

 

Clan Citidel updates, probably have something to do with what you can have in your citadel.

yea like some above said its for the clan update, that or they are making a boulder rolling skill.

These boulders fail. I did Swan Song today and one lands in the middle of the battle between the Skeletons and the Trolls. It makes the cutscene SOOO long

 

The clan citadel teaser. Probably because when Jagex are up there building them they are taking huge dumps that land on bots
