open source proxy for your site?

couldnt find the help forum,... so i put this here.
is there any free proxy things so i can host it on my site and use it from school (i'd be prolly the only one to use it) since my site isnt big or anything, id have no description, wouldnt get blocked?

ssylass you NEED to be careful though when doing this. if the webhosts tracks you and see's you have open proxy's hosted they WILL ban you, ESPECIALLY if its a free webhost. just be careful.

i have godaddy hosting, why would they ban it?

 

I was running a proxy on 000webhost and i got banned after 3 months, but that might have something to do with the fact that half my school were using the proxy too. godaddy should let you host a proxy site with no worries, read their terms and conditions just to be sure.

Well if the proxy website gets blocked at your school, then it's no good. Our school has website monitoring where all the websites visited go through a checklist, so if it's an unwanted website, it gets blocked the next day.

I would just recommend hopping free hostings if this happens.

 

Because lass, its a bandwidth thing, and they don't like it. It's like basically using them as screeners for web connections.
