I implore everyone to from now on only use the unique ID - this can be done by enabling Developer mode from within appearance settings. Then right click copy ID on the username and just simply paste it into your chat. This number CANNOT be faked.

Sythe Mods, it may be a good idea to make an official post recommending the above as it has saved me from getting scammed twice in one day. I hope to do the same for others.
