Editing the rs front page [client side]

1. open IE(i no it sucks but bear with me)

2. go to http://www.runescape.com/

3. right click on any black area and click "view source"

4. a txt document should have opened up

5. hit ctrl+f and serch for the text you wish to edit

6. hit file>save as

7. name it and put .html at the end and in the drop box hit all

8. open and see the rs page edited to the text you set



ill redo it latr just getting the idea out there...

erm... this *is NOT* how you edit it, it's something to do with php... because it loads the text form rs page, it isn't in html code already there... a bit complicated but what I'm saying is that you can't edit any text on the rs page, pretty much.

 

you can edit without php. HTML is all you need to edit rs page.

No you cant. login screen is made using java.

 

its easyer in IE because it opens in a notepad that can easyly be edited and saved as an html with firefox i think it brings up a glob of confusing stuff and then you have to copy and paste the edits and put them in notepad then save as html

so i think ill stick with IE on this

 

You can use this. Create a site on freewebs...and you can make a fake login screen.

it wont work unless you log all keys inputed in your site (and on free webs its obvious that its the runescape.com)
