Beware of this scam please.

I am new to sythe, and i have been noticing some guy coming into my livechat, acting fairly funny/shady requesting i pm him on sythe saying "im talking to you now". At first i told him why this is necessary since your on my site, and its almost impossible to hijack someones website, and he shortly left. The next day he came back asking the same thing, saying please pm me on sythe saying "im talking to you now". i noticed something very strange however, because the account he linked me was different this time.....then i realized this guy is messaging me and someone else, making me pm the victim, making the victim believe its me they're talking to when its in fact the scammer.... i have past chats/proof of this guy in livechat histroy if you want them.

But is this a new type of scam? or is it known about? sorry im new to this.
