Paypal invoice? What does it mean

I got paid with an invoice but it was not credited to my balance, is it safe to give the items that he paid for now?

Do NOT send him the items, and report him for attempting to scam.

An invoice is a bill, so he is basically saying to Paypal: Valstone owed me $340, but it is now paid.


I'm almost sure this is correct but I'm not 100% positive, if someone would like to confirm this it would be appreciated.

I learned this the hard way, went to sell someone 10m 07gp, they paid me an in invoice and said it was their credit card company having to verify. I was stupid and actually paid it, and he still go the 10m :/. Report him for scamming.

 

Yes, people have and still continue to send fake invoices which explains you getting the invoice but not the actual money. It doesn't really get any more obvious that they're attempting to scam you than when they're sending you a fake PP invoice so I suggest you report them and make sure not to give them anything.

Edit: I misunderstood the situation but as uJestern said, if the money's not on your balance you haven't received it and therefore don't give him the items and I suggest you report him.

 

It looks like you just paid them $344.00 from your bank since your PayPal balance is $0.00.

 

Did you click any sort of approval or "send" on the invoices? Hopefully you didn't send him anything.

 

I did not click anything to confirm it, those invoices just appeared in my PayPal transactions when he said he had "sent the money".

But not to worry as my bank account is NOT linked to my PayPal. My credit card WAS linked, but it has since been deactived (a few days ago). So I don't think there would be any way money could be physically taken from me to him.

Thanks a lot for your insight and concern everyone, I appreciate it. If someone could tell me how to find skype contacts that I've blocked I would gladly get his skype so it could be posted on a "Watch out for" list of people. He is probably trying to scam others like this as well.

He's a serial evader/scammer who is known for doing this.
His other skypes include powerbot_andrew osbot_ghosting osbot.ghosting and quite a few more
A few of his known aliases are Moham(m?)ed Mageed, Andrew Sauvage and another one "Ollie" something something last name.

Did he PM you or anything prior to trying to trade with you? As I have no doubt he's surely vading ATM.

Also in the future you should probably look for users' skypes on google and the sythe.org search feature to see if they come up with a history of scamming.

 

Ah yes, I will make and effort to do this in the future. I had nothing to lose with him going first so I was less cautious than I should have been. He did not contact me in any other way. I am sorry that I cannot provide anymore information on him.
