    can any one show me how to make a beta server for me to play on? :S

    Beta Server
    go to: http://www.minecraft.net/download.jsp

    then presuming you have premium.

    Download: Minecraft_Server.exe

    Then run on your PC, and then start Minecraft, go on multiplayer and for the IP enter "localhost".

    then you're on your own server!

    Just wanted to point out, you gotta put the server.exe in a folder and run it. From there, if you want friends to join, you either gotta port forward, or use a hamachi network... Guides on both : -
