Do bots still work?

Now that Eoc is out do bots like epicbot and powerbot still work? Or do you advise me not to use them due to a now higher ban rate?

 

Currently they are down. What you mean with work? With the new combat system, it will take a while until scripts with combat features are released. But non-combat will probably work, you just have to wait until the Bot (Powerbot) is up again.

 

powerbot is currently down. Should be up in 2 days max (my opinion). Though that is only the bot itself. The scriptsm especially combat scripts, will have to be updated by the script owner/writer. That can take longer depending on the individual.

Yes, they are currently down but I think they will be back shortly.

 

Powerbot estimated to be up in 1-5 days.
epic bot not sure.

 

Veloxbot never even went down.

 

Supposedly the non combat bots will be down also with the action bar's new presence taking up a large part of the screen. Just wait a week for them to be optimized for skilling. Just go do some legitimate slayer or something to test out the combat system.

 

Green drag bots are still going to chaos tunnels, providing a good supply of whips and d-legs, as all items in wildy are now dropped!

 

TRiBot has been able to work with EOC for the past week... zero downtime.

 

RiD Bot is working for me.

 

I wasn't aware Veloxbot or TRiBot ever went up with any useful scripts other than the basic alching and drop mining scripts that that are a dime a dozen.

 

Nonetheless they're up and running, that's solid for two of the latest bot communities as far as I'm concerned. Jack Goff raised an awesome point, the slayer bot(s) that existed were a waste of time to begin with so doing Slayer legitimately makes more sense than before. On a side note as well regarding Slayer, apparently the new combat system nearly doubles the XP/Hr during tasks.

 

that was just an update with new functions, not the bot nuke
they have to rewrite things, but there's no problem why pb etc. shouldn't be back

 

RiD has been updated. All of the available bots are functioning properly. RiDiverse just needs 1 tweak to allow certain training methods to last longer than 6 hours, but that's very minor and easy to fix.

 

Just testing now to see if your alcher works

 

Epicbot is supposedly up but only a few scrips are working. At least thats wheat i've heard from the PB forums.

 

Hmmm very strange then as I just downloaded epic bot and can`t press play script so I think they might still be down but dunno might just be me .
