So, I am hoping to purchase an account, and the guy is trying to remove the recoveries. We've removed the email, but, you know- the recoveries are stubborn.. What should I do? Wait for the recoveries to be dissolved? Also, the person in question is reluctant to allow me to SEE the account in game, Or allow me to know the username, but we ARE using a middle man, Kabal. *Granted he agrees to MM, ofc.* So, what's the deal here, should I trust him? Should I wait?

~Also it should be known that this is over a Scythe/Bunny ear account. Original login, ect. So that could be part of his hesitation, with the name. He keeps saying he wont show it to me for "Obvious reasons", but they're not so obvious to me. I mean, sure I COULD be a Jmod, but I mean, how much proof is someone pming you? And how much proof would sitting in a bank while I lurk be? >.> But I suppose having Kabal verify that the account has what the picture had on it and that the username is nice will be fine enough.

But.. idk, I've not had MUCH experience with trades, I've only made one on here, and another a Pin sale on Powerbot. Some advice would be lovely! I also don't really want to wait 14 days >.> IF anyone knows a faster way to remove recoveries, it would be appreciated. It's not that I don't trust my seller, I'm just apprehensive. Any advice? What sort of information should I ask for when I get the account from him?

I see that person's paranoia over account security the same as I see your paranoia over their account existing or not.

There is always the chance of getting screwed when buying (and even selling) accounts, nobody can tell you a magic trick to not get kerpwned (as far as I know).

Just make sure that you are getting all of the original account information (past passwords is very important!) incase anything does happen.

I don't know if I recommend doing a recovery test, as quite a few people get accounts locked lately with the new system (including me, although I am lucky it was a noob!).

As far as changing the recoveries goes, you just have to wait it out. I know it is annoying, but all of these bad things come with account trading unfortunately.

Kabal verifying the account should be good, he is a nice guy and I don't think he is going to let you buy an account that doesn't meet the trade specifications.

Good luck and I hope you get the account you are after.

Wow.. that actually warmed my heart! :)! Hehe.. I'm not worried about it existing, I'm more worried about it having a GOOD username. :) If I was remotely concerned about it EXISTING I would have reported him for spam  But thank you soooo much for the post :) Makes me feel a little bit better. Previous passwords... num num. So I should wait the 14 days, yeah? :)

Tbh with you I know it looks like I have never done trades on sythe since I just made this account today but I have been with my friend who use to be very big on sythe and every account he has bought/sold he has been screwed over on. Not everytime the buyers/sellers fault but it happens. Account trading comes with risks and it is very hard anymore to find legit traders/sellers to get the accounts you are looking for. GL!

Is it that rare to find someone legit? :{ Who would scam over 15m, is a ban worth that little? Bleh.. Well I suppose someone I considered my friend DID just scam me for 7m the other day. I suppose I should be less naive. :s I'll look out. Continue to post input, I enjoy it- thank you all! ^,^

you should be carefull when buying an account from people, accounts will always get recovered by the original owner if they want to, if you continue buying the account make sure you dont leave anything you dont wanna lose on the account.

True. How long do you reckon I should wait before seriously training the account?

It doesnt matter how long you wait it can be recovered whenever the owner feels like it. I bought an account for 250$ and had it for 2 weeks roughly and then it was recovered . I recommend not buying accounts at all unless it is a highly trusted person with hundreds of vouches. Even then they can still be recovered as big account sellers on here arn't the orignal owner.

i was in the same situation but once i bought the account i changed the bank pin so even if he did recover the account he would be able to access the bank and if you tell him that they wont even try

Not a frequent poster, but I would demand to see the account, either TeamView or allowing you on the account for a split second, don't get your hopes up for the second choice :D But yeah, never be naive, demand proof and be sure of everything. And be sure to use a MM and the other person approves of MM.

A list off the top of my head for things to be sure to have...
    Email
    Previous and Recent Passwords
    Date Created
Previous and Recent Transactions(Memberships via credit card, store bought card, anything, that sort of stuff)
Recovery Keys(After trade, be sure to change)
Move Dates(If a person has moved ask for the date they moved)

You are buying the account from the person, if he wants to sell... he has to submit to your needs, you are the buyer. If he can't make it an easy transaction even with a MM, just walk. Many people sell accounts.
