Need help, (RS) email problems

I'm trying to get rid of an e-mail on an account I have so I request them to send a code to the e-mail I have registered. When I go to type it in, I get a message saying "The email address you entered does not match the one in our records".

Thing is, that IS the email registered to the account, so I have no idea what to do. I tried changing email addresses and attempting to unsubscribe again, but to no avail.

You entered the NEW Email AND the OLD Email already?

If you haven't that's your problem. You need to put the code along with the new email you want.
