Should i play? I liked runescape b4 gay. wow is too much. Seems fun. Building gaming computer and need something after I rape 500 hours of Skyrim.
Maybe. Play for a while and get to level 5'ish see if you like it. By then you should have played 5-8 games and you'll know.
Go read the rules. Anyways, @Blade if you're looking for an extremely easy and casual game to pickup and be good at in 5 games and play it until you realize it takes virtually no skill and is no challenge what so ever then LoL is the perfect game. I suggest playing for maybe a week to get a hang of how these types of games work, then swap to Dota (Dota2 if you can get a hold of a beta key), or practice on HoN (Which is also free now) until dota2 comes out fully. I can promise you that you'll get no satisfaction out of winning a LoL game, when with the other games I've suggested you will.
LoL > Skyrim .'. you should play. Seems you're a hater (of LoL). You should really try playing some LoL before judging it, haha. Considering they are all RTS games, therefore the 'satisfaction' you're after will be similar in those game (LoL, Dota/2, HoN). LoL is more simple then play then the other two as it is highly more user-friendly. Although both the other two games (Dota, HoN) is simple to grasp after playing it for some time, a very long time (slightly exaggerated).
I played LoL in closed beta, I won every game I played. It was extremely simple and kiddy. Games last 10 minutes, that's stupid. I laugh at how anyone finds this game challenging.
You're fucking retarded. Closed beta was two years ago. The game has had so many changes since then. And even in beta the games didn't last 10 minutes. Why do you think LoL has a pro player base that destroys their "casual" player base? Why do you think there is such a skill gap difference between people. You're fucking retarded. If there is no skill gap play me 1v1 or ANY WAY YOU'D LIKE and bet 500$ on it?
DUDE UR SO GOOD. U SHULD DO THE SEASON 2 FOR 5 MILLION DLLR PRIZE PUUL. Yeah no.. You're basically stating that a game is simple due to you doing well in it.
Nice flaming, I'm stating that anyone can pick up this game and be half decent at it in just a few games. Which is a complete waste of time if you want to get into a serious competitive game which gives you a sense of satisfaction when you've won. Don't get so defensive. Yea possibly, but this is back when everyone was kind of new to it, it wasn't even that people were bad I don't think. It was just the game play went by way too fast. It could have just been how the beta was back then, I actually tried LoL again a few months ago and played 3 games. I don't remember which heroes but it was the same kind of deal, game was won in 15-20 minutes. I enjoy longer games, 30 mins to 1:30. I never said I was good at LoL, you've completely skipped my point. I'm stating that anyone can play this game and be good at it in a small amount of time. Which is completely pointless. All of the pro tier LoL players have come from the original Dota, which shows that anyone who has played any type of Dota league can clean up in LoL. I have no idea why I'm arguing with LoLfags anyways, they think their game is oh so hardcore and challenging. I can admit that LoL can be fun, but it takes virtually no skill. Which makes it less fun than it could be. Also, HoN would have been way more successful than LoL if it started off f2p. All I was doing was suggesting to Blade that if he wanted a challenging game that LoL is basically the exact same as, to start off with LoL until he get's the basics down and then move on to Dota in a week or so (Or to wait for when Dota2 comes out). Oh, and take it as bragging or anything you want. But if I played LoL enough to actually join any type of team I could easily get into a pro league, seeing as I've been drafted to a dota team that played against teams like Meet your makers. I haven't played any of these games for real in almost 2 years, so I don't have TOO much business talking about them, but considering my past with league play I thought I'd drop some wisdom for any interested players. Anyways Blade like I originally said, play LoL / HoN for a few weeks until Dota2 comes out.
You obviously don't know many of the pro players considering I am one of the pro players who competes in all of the national and one of the international tournaments. Also I did not come from Dota nor did a bunch of the other players. Honestly you have no clue what you're talking about. There is a reason I get paid to play this game and not many other players do. If "anyone can be good at it in a short period of time" shouldn't everyone be about the same skill level?
