Safety of unranked 30s?

Hey, I'm looking to do bronze to diamond series, but it can be a bit difficult getting a bronze account. Anyone know about the safety of buying new unranked 30s nowadays? Heard there was a ban wave going around previously but don't know if it's still okay to do so now.

 

I bought one the other day fully botted as it was obvious on the match history. Its my only heimer account lol. Its not been banned and im currently 6-2 in placements so i wouldnt say a huge risk.

 

I'm pretty sure they get banned in waves but I've heard they are getting better at detecting accs like that

 

I find it depends who you buy them from, I've bought tons of smurfs and many have gotten banned. But the few that I've bought from certain shops have lasted forever, even my main is one that I bought.

 

And which shop was that may I ask?

 

It's just annoying getting say 30+ wins plat MMR but getting banned.
It's not the money it's the time wasted

 

My friend purchased an unranked 30 and it was banned several months later. Not worth it, eventually Rito will find you.

 

It's risky. I have a 2/4 success rate so far (2 accounts were banned at D5; had to refund one buyer, other I hadn't sold yet).

 

Damn. Oh well I was promised a replacement if mine gets banned, so I guess I will just see what happens, nothing to lose here except time i guess

 

It's not really that big of a deal if you just want to buy one for fun. If you are trying to buy them in order boost and later sell it's a big problem. Bans are usually delayed several months (and 50% banrate in my case), so you'll end up losing a lot of work, a lot of money, and having an unhappy buyer who probably bought skins/champs on his account.
Definitely risky.

 

I've bought 4 for around $20 and 2 of them got banned the same day the other 2 are still going, all from the same seller too. only difference was the 2 that didn't get banned were the ones I didn't play on yet.

 

The 3 accounts I've bought have all been banned within a month, maybe I'm just buying them from the wrong people.

Next time I need a level 30 I'll probably do the per game + day XP boosts, shouldn't take more than a couple days

 

I've bought two, one was banned, and the other one has been going strong for about a month and a half now. It's really hit and miss.

better off buying 2x boosts and doing 3v3s

 

Depends where you get them from, my gf buys a lot of smurfs for us to fuck around on and none of them have ever been banned.

 

It depends on where you buy them from. Our accounts do not have issues with bans.
