I tossed a thread up on r-s asking if anyone wanted to make one final RSPS run with me a couple days ago.

I literally have 40 developers favorited now, no exaggeration, so if developers are needed I have a surplus x10 on skype lol(40+ actual involved/active RSPS ones minimum).

I asked for server sided ones & client sided, 317 devs only.

Sythe expects all of the devs to work for free on an open source project. Nobody from R-S will do that lol.

 

It will be a while. They are still deciding a base server, then all the changes need to be made to make it playable for the community.

 

I posted stating it'd be a % of profits so if sythe wanted help the equity would have to be divided.

But yes, the average r-s dev makes $15/hour which I highly doubt anyone here wants to pay.

So its either equity or $15/hour.

 

Are you saying your thread on R-S is for the Sythe rsps or one you're making yourself?

Unclear at this stage.

Sythe's RSPS could be a major asset to me, the immediate playercount with my advertising and connections would make a formidable combination.

Of course they've already messed it up potentially, as unless Sythe gets ahold of me within the next 2 days toplists will roll back and Ill miss the best chance we'd have.

Yeah I just read your thread on R-S. Doubt anyone on there will be working for you for free on a hunch they may end up making money lol, Nobody good at that much.

Anyway if you still need a source hmu, Perception is an extremely good OSRS source.

As far as I'm concerned nobody making this RSPS understands the urgency it needs lol.

Sythes CDT or whoevers doing the promotion for it is going to realize the hard way how much money they lost by getting it out mid month vs brand new of a month.

The difference is in the thousands.

The votes alone will cost thousands($20 per 1k, 200 at start of month vs 15k mid month), so that's an additional $300 per toplist alone.

Evidently nobody cares though, its clear they just intend to advertise it on sythe and it'll die here aswell, that or they plan to cost sythe thousands of extra dollars.

Not how I would of did it.
